Lupines

I had seen pictures like this from members of my photo club and I always thought that they must be from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado or some exotic place. Was I surprised to learn they were right here in New England!

The lupines bloom in June, and one of the best places to see them is in Franconia, NH during the annual Festival of Lupines. Totally worth the drive up!
